Security cameras can prevent crime, as criminals may be less likely to strike if they know they will be recorded. Also, security cameras create leads for police officers and detectives when a crime occurs in or around your home or business. The goal of our Community Camera Registration Program is to partner with citizens in our city to quickly identify locations of recording devices in areas where a crime has occurred. Receiving video or images sooner will assist us by reducing the time it takes to track down, identify, and prosecute offenders.

Notes about our Camera Registration Program

• This is a voluntary program designed to help investigators locate important evidence. You may request to remove your camera from the registration at any time via email or by phone.
• Registering your camera does not give anyone access to it. Only the camera location and contact information will be documented.
