Cory Seiler, Chief of Police

Welcome to the official website of the Orrville Police Department.

It is an honor to serve as Chief of Police in the community I call home. Orrville is my hometown, and serving the people and families who make this community special is something I take great pride in. I am fortunate to work alongside a dedicated team of officers who share that commitment.

Our department is made up of 17 full-time officers serving approximately 8,500 residents. While our responsibilities include enforcing the law and responding to calls for service, our job goes beyond that. We believe good policing starts with building relationships, being accessible, and treating people with fairness and respect.

Courage, Compassion, Honor, and Trust are the values that guide our department. We strive to put those values into practice every day, whether responding to an emergency, working with our schools, supporting local events, or simply taking the time to talk with a resident.

We want this website to be a useful resource for our community. Here, you can find information about our department, public safety resources, community programs, and the services we provide.

Thank you for taking the time to visit our website and for the continued support you show our officers. As someone who grew up in Orrville, I understand what this community means to the people who call it home. Our officers and I are proud to serve you, and we remain committed to keeping Orrville a safe place to live, work, and raise a family.
